About Your Artist
My drawing journey really started in the summer of 2022. I just had my 3rd baby, and moved into town for the first time in 18 years. Deeply missing the ranch lifestyle I'd lived for so long, I channeled that longing into drawing. My sketchbook became a best friend and taught me to loosen my hand and quit caring about the outcome, though this concept took a few years to realize. I've found my style in the joy, the sweat, the work, and sometimes the pain of everyday life with our horses. On a typical day you can find me cleaning stalls or carrying a toddler around.None of this is of myself, since nothing we do is without God's hand. So I will use this gift I've been given to the best of my ability.You can guarantee that if I draw something for you, there will be a piece of my life and heart hanging on your wall.
